Our Mission
Compassionate Caregiving
Before you can counsel or educate people you must first meet their basic needs. It
is difficult for somone to listen and participate when their belly is empty. Thus part of our mission
is to provide what bare necessities we can to orphans and their caregivers. Examples are: food, water, clothing,
shelter, and etc.
Grief Recovery Counseling
The children of the HIV/Aids Pandemic, wars, and catastrophes are emotionally destitute. They
have lost their love ones and often are left to fend for themselves. In the case of Aids victims,
four year olds are forced to grow up quickly and raise their younger siblings. They must sacrifice a normal childhood
for premature adulthood. These poor children need to grieve; to express those supressed emotions and get in
touch with their loss.
The Commitment to Education
Education is salvation. "You can feed man a fish for a day and he
will be full for a day or you can teach a man to fish and he will be full for a lifetime." Education leads to prosperity.
It gives orphans the tools to create their own buisnesses, to apply to colleges, and to achieve their dreams.
Education is the doorway that leads them out of poverty; out of darkness and into the light.
